About Kanzo & myself

Experience Matters

With over 15 years of hands-on experience in interior architecture, design, and renovation, I bring both creative vision and practical expertise to every project. Over the years, I have worked on a wide range of spaces — from intimate city apartments to large countryside homes, as well as restaurants, offices, and professional environments — across Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, and Angola. This international experience has enriched my perspective and strengthened my ability to adapt to different cultures, spaces, and ways of living.

I believe that good design is not about imposing a signature style, but about creating harmony. I am as comfortable designing expressive, bohemian interiors as I am crafting modern, minimalist spaces — everything is a matter of balance, coherence, and understanding what feels right for each client and each place.

Wherever a project is located, I oversee the work with care and surround myself with skilled and reliable craftsmen. I also pay close attention to the selection of materials, furniture, and finishes, always striving to maintain a high standard of quality. Regardless of the budget, my commitment remains the same: to deliver thoughtful, harmonious spaces built with integrity, precision, and lasting value.

15+ Years of experience and counting ...

I was born in Angola and have built my life through a rich international journey that continues to shape my creative vision today. Having lived in Portugal, Brazil, Switzerland, and Italy, I developed a deep sensitivity to cultural diversity, architectural styles, and the many ways people live within and experience spaces. For nearly a decade, I have been based in Lisbon, where Kanzo is now established.

After dedicating several years to raising my three children, I chose to pursue a lifelong passion for aesthetics, harmony, and interior design. With a natural eye for composition and atmosphere, I trained in interior architecture and design at the Dubois School in Lausanne, transforming an intuitive talent into a professional practice grounded in both creativity and technical knowledge.

Over the past 15 years, I have worked on a wide variety of projects across Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, and Angola — from private residences and city apartments to countryside homes, restaurants, offices, and professional spaces. These experiences, combined with my multicultural background, have shaped a flexible and deeply human approach to design.

Today, through Kanzo, I bring together my international perspective, technical expertise, and attentive listening to create spaces defined by harmony, authenticity, and meaning — always tailored to reflect the identity and aspirations of each client.
